Hi Catherine,

My fish room is really not big, my plan is to cull hard for the best and will be using the import fish to get my very own breeder out of them and may cull them as I breed them 2 times. So I really need to get in the show and if fish show potential winning something then I will continue that line if not I will disband all of them including the parent breeders.

Sorry for mentioning cull in my reply as I really just wanted to produce good fish cuz water changing is really time consuming but I do it by virtue to change water on time as I still don't have a drip system. But that's my next plan to have drip system as I'm still looking for more bigger place to stay. I'll keep you guys updated.

By the way I have red dragons on my first spawn I just did kept 4 of them , 2 males 2 females this come on my first spawn as a beginner not really so satisfied on the result as the topline of both males was inherited from the father not so smooth humpy, finnage wise to much branching on my taste will be posting those fish as soon as I have time to get photos. My second spawn I really did not like the result mixing Red and Copper HM they have good finnage but color wise they are mess up so I give all there faith to my associate. Again thank you for your comment Catherine and gud luck to us showing our fish next year under the name of Betta Breeder Canada. Grin More power to Betta Breeder Canada.

Cheers,
Francis

I like the blue steel pair and the fansy marble male!

Well cull means diferent things, some people use the word to indicate non show fish that will not be used in a breeding program.

If my culls are big enough/ healthy were sent out as pets for people. I tend to not kill them unless there are big broblems (cant swim properly etc...)
