I was thinking of ideas for possible banners

Then I just had a crazy idea that had nothing to do with the banner and everything to do with the "Wondering what do you do for temperature for bettas" thread

I meant to reply to this when I saw it before.  I like that first picture.  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

It took me awhile to figure out what was going on in the second pic but thought it was funny once I figured it out.  Good job!

Yes, and trying to keep their bettas warm as well. There's icicles on the tree outside the window.

Doina: lol

You forgot the nose warmers http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />
With the winter we have had we all need them, even our babies.
IDEA!!!!
We could knit a whole bunch and sell them as Betta tail warmers.

LOL - I can picture a tail warmer for a betta, but for a betta nose warmer I'm afraid I need a drawing (with an arrow) http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

I quess you have never seen my Bettas.  They really like their little pipe hiding places.  When they are in them all you can see is the tip of their tails and their noses.
I will take a picture to show you what I mean.
Ian, Kim and Zena have seen them do it. So they know what I mean.

Yep I can definitely verify that for Catherine http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

One of mine was fond of a shot glass submerged in the water!

Catherine, the beautiful betta you posted did not have any warmer-type thingy in the picture with him. (By the way, can we (me) see more pictures?) Pretty pleeeaaasseeee? http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Ian, I'm positively going to use my shot glasses differently http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />
