I was trying to respond to the post in the Guestbook thread and every time I tried to post it gave me an error saying that I did not have permission to post to this topic.  I see that Ian was able to reply, is that because he is "Mr. Super Moderator"?   http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

It's probably a general glitch.

I have also noticed that the "view new posts" link near the top doesn't bring up all the posts.  It sometimes brings up NONE when I KNOW there are new ones http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />  I doubt it has anything to do with moderator status.

Could you try again and let me know if it still doesn't work?

Ian I am having the same problem. I have tried both the new posts and reply to the quest post and it is coming up as menu error.

It's not a glitch. Let me clarify:

Breeders Directory is for listing only. It's not a place for public discussion. Registered members can add themselves to the directory by starting a new thread. The thread starter can modify that first post they made so that they can change/update the info in that listing. But members cannot post replies.

Guestbook, well that's just like what a guestbook is for. You visit, sign it and leave it. I don't think ever anyone who signed a guestbook would come back and sign it again, that'll defeat the purpose of keeping a guestbook anyway. Guests should leave their contact info if they want to be contacted.

Of course, admins and moderators override the rules. (Ian wasn't aware of this, so he's been making posts in both sections...mind you, he's been warned, LOL!)

If you want to contact the thread starters in these sections, please do so via email or PM (well, guests don't have PMs, so email only for them).

The virtual show (once it's open), would have some restrictions too.

If you find problems in the other sections, however, that would be a glitch (my fault), then PM me about it and I'll look into it ASAP.

the "view new posts" button, on the other hand, is just temperamental http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />
