I have a really neat idea.  Or at least I think it is a neat idea.
BBC  tee-shirts.
If we could get one of our graphic artists to come up with a LOGO and then find someone who can do silk screening. Sorry I am dating myself. I guess it is all done on computer now.
The LOGO on the front and Our moto  "We love a challenge. That is why we breed Bettas" on the back
( thanks to our President) I just love the saying.
So what do you think? http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />
I know I would buy a number if I could get them in different colours.  I would wear then to work. It would drive my co-workers nuts.  They already think I'm crazy.
I don't know what it would cost to have them printed up but I could get the plain tee shirts whole sale

HAHAHAHAH love the co-worker dig lol....

You can buy iron in transfer paper that goes into a printer and iron it on a t-shirt or get it done digitally at one of those stores.....  I have a friend that owns an embrodery company... She could probably give us a good price on T-Shirts.....I will most likely see her tonight, I will pick her brain....

The iron-in washes off fast...I don't like them.

If we're gonna have a t-shirt, have a good one. I can probably ask my dad if he's know someone who can do small orders. The factory he works in make sweaters for Roots and stuff...

I think that's a great idea!  I'll definitely buy a couple to have down here.  If the price is right, I might get more than a few and offer them as door prizes for our next East Coast Aquarium Society meeting!  That would get the word out  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

That's awesome. I think silk screening is the way to go because iron-on transfers wear down (i've tried them before). My cousin used to silk screen designs for himself, but he's currently in Taiwan so that won't work. He did teach me how to use his equip, but I'm not sure where his stuff would be since he moved, and I'd probably need to buy new supplies. Better to just get a small company to do it. Or even CafePress (but they probably take some of the $).

I can do buttons! I have a 1" button press.

Tina
Buttons would be great too.
I know in our beading community everyone has fancy buttons with neat sayings on them.
It would be a good way to get word out about our group.
People like buttons that they can but on just about anything.
How we have to think a bunch of Betta sayings.

Any idea how much they'd cost?

My class has had group tees before when we went to the dominican before and I think it was like $25 each for good quality printing (one colour though) on plain coloured tees.  We got 30 of them total.
