Fry Alert,Fry alert,Fry Alert http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />
Here we go again.  One tiny fry in the breeding tank.
Was checking out Pretty Boy (turqu HM)in the breeding tank, to see how he liked his almond leaf and what do I see.  ONE TINY FRY swim by.  Maybe a week old.  He must be from my last spawning attemped and hide in the java moss when I cleaned the tank.
What is this with single fry http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />
He is still too tiny for me to try and remove him from the tank, so I will just leave him and hope no one eats him.
He should be a copper CT since I had Saima's male and my female in the tank last.
Please keep your fingers crossed that next time I get more than a single fry from the spawn. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />

I NEED NEW GLASSES http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />
I caught the tiny one and put him in a small container. I then went into the breeding tank to get some java moss.
What do I see 7 fry http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />
Needless to say I  scooped Pretty boy out of the tank .  For if I can see seven fry there may be more.
OK I here by promise to put on my reading glasses before I definitely say I have no fry from a spawn.
Blame it on my birthday being tommorrow.I'm getting to old.  I am going to have to brake down and get bi-focals.
Have a good laugh everyone. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />

I always keep my tank up for a week after I spawn just in case and treat it as if there were fry itn there.  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />

I glad you still have some from your spawn!

Surprise http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />
I have 9 fry not 8.  One has been hiding or they all have been playing hide and seek.
Now that they are bigger I can see differences in they.  One little female is at least three times the size of anyone else.
Strange thing is several have rounded tails. Their parents are CT.
The others tails and fins have jaged edges.
Must be a throw back or something.
Will take some pictures when they get a bit bigger.

10
I don't believe it. An other one came out of the Java Moss on Monday.
He is very small but is eating the BBS and micro worms like all the rest.
I now have 10 fry about 3 -4 weeks old.
At least Saima and I don't have to cut one in half. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />  http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />
Crazy, Crazy What next?
Now if olny I could get someone else to spawn and have some fry.
Catherine
