I was wondering can I put catfish/loaches/plecos with my bettas? These are my other addictions besides my bettas.

I've been told by some people that certain plecos will ride and munch on the tail of long fin bettas. I have not seen that happen personally though.

I keep corycats, otocats with my bettas with no issues. However if you're referring to larger cats like synodontis, then I have no experience.

Not sure about loaches.

I haven't had any trouble with Otto cats, mini cory or snails.  Your Betta will let you know right away if he likes them or not.  Some of my Bettas like my snails as ascargo and some just leave them alone. The same with the Otto cats and the Cories.
It all dependes on your Betta.
Good luck.

I've got snails in with my bettas that I got from Kim, they barely pay any attention to them, girls keep chasing each other around and one of my males has a gourami in with him(he doesn't really like him but still hasn't killed him). I picked up some Golden Zebra Loaches yesterday and put them in the community tank, they seem to like to nibble on some of the other fish so I won't put those ones in with my bettas. I'll probably check out Menagerie this weekend if I'm not going to Montreal.

Hey.  I've had similar experiences to others.  From my fish tanks I can definitely say not to put guppies in.  I have also had some decent sized snails get eaten by bettas.  Ghost shrimp aren't really safe either.

I wish my bettas (or anybody else) have a go at my snails, I have/get loads of them, maybe that's why the plants aren't taking over the tank, as advertised.
The Siamese algae eater is bulying the whole tank, I thought he was going to clean it (and clean it is), but now I'm seeing the long fins getting shorter (as in a whole clump missing, no shredding) - so I think he's going to go clean some other tank..
