Hi Everyone
Well you wanted a silly story well here is one.
When I set up my first tank, I placed a plastic white fitting in the tank for my new Betta to play with. You know the ones you find at the hardware store.  They are about 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" accross.
My first Betta Charles, loved his, he would play like a little kid hiding under the table.  (you cann't see me)  You could see his tail and nose.  I know he liked it because he felt safe.  But then he would zip around the tank and throught it too.
Since then I have always added a fitting or two to every tank.
Everyone who sees them laughts http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />
Even Zena's better half, and he works for a company who sells them. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />
I told him he should use it as advertizing gummic. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />
An added note too. Yesterday I saw two of my females squeezed in together in one. Tried to take a picture but It didn't turn out well.
Take care and have fun with your Bettas too.
Catherine
