Will guys.  They talk about males fighting but you haven't seen anything until you see two female Bettas fight.
I was introducing my new CT females to each other this evening.
At first it was OK.  Two of the girls did a little tail/face slapping and then abdominal pocking. But nothing too bad.
One held back and just watched.
I added another little girl.  Same thing but nothing much.
but a few minutes later the one how had held back came tearing over and starting fighting fast and furious.
Neither two where backing down.  Before I know it they where lip locked and sinking fast.
I quickly scooped one out. Have to treat them both for missing scales and ripped fins.

WOW what a show. Have never seen that before.

yeah it's a pretty crazy thing to watch.  I've had them lip lock before too.  Are they doing okay now?

So far so good.  I have placed the blue/orange(tail) girl back in her own container
I think I am going to have to keep them all separate.  Maddening don't have the room . Was hoping for an other sorority tank easier to look after.
Will have to wait and see.
