Hello, Margaret again.

I wasn't sure where to put the photos of my fish since they're rather general and not really suitable for the gallery. So, here they are:

Kim's Beauties:

They have since gone on a diet and look a bit more, ahem, "athletic".

My Pearl Gas boy:

And his mate. She has the strangest coloration I've ever seen on her body - some of the scales are opalescent blue! Love this little one.

THe pineapple boy:

Oh, and this pic - you can't really see him well, oh but all these fins! http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/mdfa/PAMale-03.jpg[/img]]

And his girl:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/mdfa/PAFem-02.jpg[/img]] http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/mdfa/PAFem-01.jpg[/img]]

And here is Phoenix, communing with the fishies: http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/mdfa/Phoenixnfish.jpg[/img]]

Please excuse poor quality of photos. The fish are in glass half gallon jars with rounded edges so it's hard to get a good, clear picture without distortion and I did not want to stress the fish by putting them into a square tank so soon after they arrived.

Margaret.

I thought I had pics of my other bettas but I can't find them at the moment.

Ah, the pre-requisite furry QA control agent  Grin

I love the pearl guy.  And that female is just so..... neat.  Can't wait to see what you get from them!   Wink

Hey Margaret
I just love the fish. Where are you in Stony Creek? I'm in Hamilton.  We should get together sometime and talk Bettas.
Want first dibs on the fry from the Pinapple spawn and the Pearl gas one.

Hi Heather,

thanks for the welcome. yes, he is my little inspector and also my morning assistant. He has to go into the bathroom with me (if I lock him out he causes quite a raucous!), watch me have a shower and brush my teeth and make sure I did it right LOL.

Hi Catherine,

I think I've met you briefly at one of the HDAC meetings, or maybe it was the auction? I'm right off Lake Ave, close to Lake Ave. / King St. intersection. And sure, you can have first dibs. I was going to breed the pearl gas pair first but wouldn't you know it, the male is a tail biter and damaged his tail. I think it would be unwise to stress him with breeding until his tail heals...   Sad Darn, and I was so looking forward to it.

Margaret.
