So I put a couple pregnant livebearers in traps last night. They are in a community tank with some wild bettas who are excellent jumpers. You guessed it!! This morning, there's a betta in one of the traps with a pregnant molly. I think the betta was coaching!!

Reminds of how I lost my colony of Heterandria formosa.....

They were in a tank beside a tank with B. pugnax in it.  One day I could not find the female pugnax.  Found her one tank over in with my formosas.  She had eaten all but one male.  Can't reproduce a solitary male!
